Join us for an evening of music intertwined with spoken scriptural word. Advent Songs is a best selling recording project. With over 1,000 views per day on the video version on YouTube, all the songs speak on the theme of the hope of heaven and looking forward to experiencing eternal joy and life. The songs are arranged in different genres with rich instrumentation. It’s a truly heavenly collection of songs.
ABOUT OUR PERFORMERS
Drawing its members from the Croydon Seventh-Day Adventist Church in South London, the Croydon SDA Gospel Choir started in 1979 as a youth choir. Over the past four decades it has reached millions across the globe through its album recordings, appearances on television like BBC Songs of Praise, royal concerts, and radio broadcasts, as well as performances across the world in churches, the concert stage, festivals, hospitals, prisons, and even in private residences.
The ‘gospel’ in its name refers to the message it brings, which is identifiably based on the Christian faith which all of its members embrace. Musically, it dares to venture into a diverse range of genres, from different eras, and even languages, with an aim to reach every ‘nation, kindred, tongue, and people’.
