Come and join the Family Ministries Department, as we assist and support families and individuals with the necessary tools to tackle the issue of mental health.

As we journey on our pilgrim walk through life, we are faced with stressful situations, such as the death of a loved one, marriage and family pitfalls, divorce, or even having to deal with wayward children. Dealing with such problems may cause harm to a person’s mental health. Chronic illness, brain damage, because of serious injury, the loss of a job, rise in the cost of living, just to name a few, all contribute to the likelihood of mental illness.

People are experiencing anguish, despair, and worry every day. The reality is the mental wellness of many families as well as individuals is being challenged in a great way. Many don’t have any hope.  Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us where to place our hope: “Be anxious for nothing, but I everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
