It’s nearly impossible to go through the motions and maintain our passion for Christ. Like a home warmed by a wood stove, we need to tend the fire. When it comes to falling deeper in love with Jesus, the key lies in being intentional about it. We need to be aware of the tendency for our zeal to cool over time and make purposeful decisions to keep that fire burning.
