All parents are invited to a special programme presented by guest speaker, Angela Sterling Noel (psychotherapist and life coach). Angela will explore our duty as parents in today’s society to help give us a better understanding as to what it means to be a good, Godly parent.
The three main points of the presentation will include:
- Defining the Role of a parent
- The challenges in today’s world
- The big picture
In today’s society, the community is a reflection of the homes that constitute that community. Many of our homes are dysfunctional due to varying factors. One such factor is the lack of proper parenting. There are many homes that are run by a single parent. There are many homes whereby father absenteeism is the norm. Our children are not exposed to a stable environment within that place that should be their safe haven. We see it every day in our schools, notably with the behaviour of our children, the many teen stabbings, pregnancy in teenagers. The statistics are there to show. All of this stems from the lack of proper parenting.

About the Speaker
Angela Sterling-Noel is passionate about the emotional wellbeing of people from all generations and her life’s mission is to empower others to effectively design their lives for excellence and purpose.
Since 2003 has been working in private practice as a Counsellor, Psychotherapist, trainer, and Clinical Supervisor. She is also a certified Systemic Practitioner and applies a systemic approach to both therapy and coaching.
She specialises in trauma and abuse; and has a special interest the inner- child and the systemic impact on families. Her clientele includes Couples, Families, Children, Adolescence and Individual adults.
