The key to bearing fruit is to remain firmly attached to the vine, relying on the power of God to bring forth fruit.  The strength is in the connection – our relationship to Jesus Christ in community with each other through the Church. Working together in the unity of God’s Spirit, we’re able to accomplish all that God would have you do and be.

Join us throughout April as we will explore what it means to have roots and connections with Jesus in our 5-part series.

Morning Programme

10:00AM SABBATH SCHOOL  |  11:30AM WORSHIP SERVICE

02 April

Sermon Topic: The Call to Repent

Guest Speaker: Pastor Kirk Thomas (BUC Director of Publishing & Personal Ministries)

Summary: God has made it clear we need to repent if we are to experience a revival of His power and presence in our lives. Repentance requires that we stay close and connected to Jesus. What is your proximity to Him? How closely connected are you to Jesus?

09 April

Children’s Day

Theme:  The Final Countdown

Speakers:

The Seven Churches by Gugulethu Vandoren

The Seven Seals by Elnathan Huddson

The Seven Trumpets by Lee White-Samuels

Summary: Revelation is an epic book of mysteries. Embedded within its pages is the Final Countdown to earth’s history. This is the main event, the indisputable reality of a final judgment and the Second Coming of Jesus. What are some of the major prophesied events and how are they relevant to our time? How do these events highlight our mission to connect all nations to Jesus Christ and His truth?

16 April

Prayer and Praise Day

Theme: Under the Protection of Praise

Speakers:  Pastor Royston Smith, Elder Johnny Saul & Shaniqua Benjamin

Summary: Get your testimonies and prayers ready! God made us in his image. He made us to stay connected to Him. However, our behaviour and the enslavement of sin, blocks our access to God and inhibits our praise leaving us open to spiritual attack. Praise makes a difference in our walk with God.  When we make a conscious choice to stay connected to Jesus and fix our eyes on Him and give Him praise, no matter what’s staring us straight in the face, we suddenly realise that God has already begun to release the grip that our struggles can have over us.

23 April

Youth Focus

Topic: Branch and the Vine

Speaker: Kingsley Akrasi

Summary: The Branch is important for the vine to survive. A disconnected vine eventually withers and dies. Many of us were spiritually thriving as were intricately linked to Christ, however our life choices have disconnected us from Jesus. We will explore the opportunity to reconnect, and stay connected to the Jesus, so that you can grow and flourish again.

30 April

Sermon Topic: I Will Go Back to My Father

Guest Speaker: Pastor Augustus Lawrence (SEC Director of Family Life)

Summary: The prodigal’s return wasn’t merely a change in location – it was a return to His identity. God is calling you to become who you were ordained to be. A life lived outside of God was never meant for you. You still have a chance to step into your true calling. Come back to the Father and reconnect with Him. A space is still available in His house.
