The global pandemic made 2020 an extremely difficult year which most people would be happy to erase and start over. But it was also the year where many important issues were brought to the forefront – one of those issues being Domestic Abuse.

We heard of victims being terrified as they were trapped during lock down with their abuser. Domestic Abuse is a serious problem which affects our local community. It distorts the principle of love and can leave families devastated.

Many people are not aware of the signs of Domestic Abuse nor are they confident in knowing how to respond to a disclosure. This seminar will be a short introduction to the dynamics of Domestic Abuse and will provide you with the tools to help someone who may be in need of support.
