Pastor Samuel Ouadjo


astor Samuel Ouadjo (who likes to be affectionately called, “Pastor Sam”) has been the pastor of the Croydon SDA Church since October 2016. Before coming to Croydon he was the Associate General Manager of The Stanborough Press Ltd and the Manager of Adventist Book Centre UK. He was also the pastor of Ipswich, Colchester and Holloway SDA Churches respectively.

Pastor Sam loves church planting. In 2005, together with a few men and women, he planted the Dunstable SDA Church. In 2009 and 2010 he was also instrumental in planting churches in Clacton on Sea and Essex.

For many years Pastor Sam served as Church and District Pastor, and held several directorships in the Ivory Coast Mission for the Youth, Sabbath School, Personal Ministry and Stewardship Departments. He was appointed President of the Ivory Coast Mission in 1995 and went on to lead the Mission to become a Conference in 2002. Pastor Sam then became the first Ivory Coast Conference President until 2005 when he came to the UK to continue the Lord’s work.

Pastor Sam is married to Joyce Samuel whom he met at Newbold College where he studied and completed his Masters in Systematic Theology in 1988. God called him from the legal career he intended to pursue to the Gospel Ministry. Pastor Sam is currently working on his PhD.

He loves anything to do with church growth and is passionate about evangelism. Pastor Sam also enjoys Formula One racing and tennis.
