Facing life’s challenges together…

We believe it’s important to stay connected with God at all times, especially when facing life’s challenges. We are here to offer you the sort of support that can mean the difference between thriving and surviving. Our programmes are designed to help you find spiritual direction as you go through the challenges, sorrows and transitions of life. The following programmes are intended to address specific life challenges.

Cornerstone Counselling

Cornerstone is a Christian counselling service that has been running for the past 16 years. We are sponsored by the South England Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and work closely with the family life department. Our services are well established within the SDA church and other denominations. We welcome clients from all backgrounds and have worked with people from many different religions and cultures and do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender or ethnicity. Cornerstone has a team of counsellors who are all professionally qualified and clinically supervised for the work they do. Find out more here.

Grief Support

Losing someone you care about is one of the hardest struggles of this life, but it’s important to remember that God is still with us during the difficult times. Our Pastoral Team are here to offer grief support and to help you find comfort in God even at times of bereavement. If you would like to arrange a session please contact us.

Hospital and Home visits

Our Pastoral Team and caring volunteers regularly visit homes, hospitals and nursing homes in the community offering Bible studies, prayer and words of comfort and hope to all. In the Croydon SDA family we believe in following Jesus’ example of helping those in need. Anyone is welcome to request a visit. If you or someone you know requires a visit, please contact us to arrange a visit at a mutually convenient time.

Prayer Requests

There is power in prayer and we want to pray for you. Every request sent to us receives loving, compassionate attention. Please know we are here for you and that you are never alone. Submit a prayer request here.
