If there was ever a time for serious reflection, it is now. As Christians, we should be preparing for what is soon to break upon the world as an overwhelming surprise, and this preparation should be made daily. Now is the time to be asking ourselves, “What is my work and mission in this time? Am I right with Christ if He were to return today? On which side am I working – Christ’s side or the enemy’s side?”
Join us each Sabbath in February as we explore how we can as individuals and as families be ready to do what God has called us to in the last days.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy; without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
And there are many in the church who take it for granted that they understand what they believe, but, until controversy arises, they do not know their own weakness. When separated from those of like faith and compelled to stand singly and alone to explain their belief, they will be surprised to see how confused are their ideas of what they had accepted as truth.
