Want to be more active and get out doors more often? We want to encourage families, churches members and the community to join us in enjoying local and nationwide countryside walks.
There is no cost (other than your travel to join the walk) and you don’t need to be a member of our church – everyone is welcome to join in, whether you’re a local resident or come from further afield.

Walking GroupÂ
We have an active programme with several walks each month on Sunday mornings.
Meeting Point: We meet in the church yard at 7:30am promptly.
Getting to our walking destinations:Â Transportation is free for the first 15 persons. Depending on the numbers attending, we will usually use the Church minibus to take us to our walking destination. If the minibus is not available, we will either travel by public transport (train) or carpool.
Gear: Please ensure you wear appropriate walking boots / shoes with a good grip. Even better if waterproof should some parts of the route are damp.
Refreshments: We recommend that you bring water (about 2 litres) and a packed lunch for your own comfort.
Duration: Our walks will take a good part of the day, at least 6 hours in total. This includes commuting to and from our walking destination and rest breaks. The walk itself will take an average of 2 hours.
