Communicate and capture the Gospel in a variety of engaging ways.

Ministry Descriptions

Audio/Visual (Live Broadcasting)

Want to help us produce and capture our worship services and programmes to support the Gospel? This team may be a great fit for you! Learn how to mix audio, operate cameras, record the service and the cue the lights. We livestream our Sabbath programmes via YouTube and Vimeo Livestream every week. Help create an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God. We need a large dedicated team who take pride in the quality of our live broadcasting and production. While technical expertise is desirable, training is available if you have no experience. To assist in these roles, you will need to attend church in-person, be timely, organised, and committed.

Content Editorial

Do you have an eye for detail, a creative flair, a heart for serving, and a knack for storytelling, editing, proofreading, or copywriting? Then this might be your perfect fit! Our team handles a wide range of responsibilities, such as creating engaging original content for the church website, evangelistic material for the community, writing scripts for YouTube videos, and producing a monthly newsletter. One of the team’s most successful community outreach initiatives to date has been its inspirational community calendar, and we’re looking to build on this success. We have flexible opportunities to fit most schedules.

Social Media

If you’re that person who embraces new social media platforms, loves engaging with people via messages, story replies, or comments, you belong here! There are people in your community who have never set foot inside of a church and social media may be how God reaches them. By volunteering to lead the way on social media, you’re refusing to let them spend another day without knowing the love of Christ, and you’re doing everything you can to show the Light of the World to them. You will need to be a strong writer who can convey messages in an engaging way. We currently use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. You can serve from anywhere, and at any time. Sign up with the Social Media team.

Website

A church website is one of the most important marketing and outreach tools we have at our disposal in the age in which we live. The Web Team develop and manage the content that goes on the church website, ensuring the website is engaging, well maintained, up to date, safe and secure. We continually work towards making the church website a place to help our users learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, connect to the life of the church, know what to expect when new, keep up to date with what’s happening in church, and know where to get or offer help/support. While technical expertise is desirable, it’s not essential. We are happy to offer training for some roles – publishing content on the church website. You will need a computer to carry out your role and ideally a good internet connection. Serve from anywhere, any time.

Public Relations

As a public relations volunteer, you'll be a part of telling the life-changing stories happening in our church community. If you’re a good writer and want to promote the work of the church far and wide, this is a great opportunity to write/edit articles and report church activities to local radio, television, and newspapers by submitting news releases, arranging for interviews, writing letters to the editor on matters of concern to the church, writing or assigning feature stories or columns, arranging for photo coverage of congregational activities or events, and serving as a source of information for public media representatives. Ideally, you should have some writing or public relations experience.

Graphic Design

Help communicate the love of God through graphic design on web, video, social media, print, and more. If you’re experienced, have a good eye contemporary design, and have a heart for reaching out to our community, then be a part of the team! We have a variety of projects and tools that fit your gifts and skill level. Regular projects will include designing a package of products for the monthly sermon series and printed evangelistic material to give out to the community, like our inspirational community calendar and outreach cards, etc.

Information Technology (IT)

Are you keen on details? Are you tech-savvy and trained in the art of finding great solutions? You might be a great fit to volunteer on the IT Team! We’re seeking people who are passionate about technology and working on a team to deliver resources with excellence, such as maintain the church’s hardware and church member database. Serve from anywhere, any time! Ideally you should have a good internet connection.
