Together again

Join us for in-person worship

Church is open again for in-person worship from 8 January 2022

We’re inviting you to join us for Adult Sabbath School at 9:30am and  Divine Worship at 11:15am every Saturday. Other services/activities will be gradually resumed when it’s safe to do so.

Livestreamed services will continue to be available for those who cannot attend.

No seat reservations needed

You no longer need to register to attend church, but we are still maintaining social distancing rules. This means we can only have up to 80 people in the church at a time. For this reason,  when the church sanctuary gets full we’re kindly asking you to worship with us in the overflow hall.

By deciding to attend the worship service in-person, you are acknowledging and giving consent to abide by the following guidelines:

+ Please arrive at the church 10 minutes prior to the Worship Service for check-in.

+ Wear a mask when moving around in communal areas and when seated.

+ Practice social distancing. We have set out socially distanced seating within all of our meeting spaces.

+ Your temperature will be taken and hands must be sanitised before the Worship Service. If you fail the screening, (above the safe temperature) you’ll be kindly asked to return home.

+ Ushers will direct you to the pews.

+ The church will keep a record of your relevant personal details for 21 days, as required for NHS track and trace in the event of a COVID-19 outbreak.

+ Please note that we haven’t yet resumed children’s services, so you will need to keep your children with you at all times.

Keeping church safe

Following the Government’s announcement that Covid-19 restrictions have been relaxed from 19 July 2021, the Croydon SDA Church Pastoral team has agreed that a phased approach will help people feel safe to resume attending in-person services. Please read our full statement here.
